We love to see progress in women’s sports and mo

We love to see progress in women’s sports and more and more women becoming - and staying - active.

But we cannot let this be our end goal. It’s just a start. We are working with a system that wasn’t designed for women, and forcing them to adapt to this system is breaking women.

As our CEO Baz Moffat says, “we’re building on quicksand.” She called for urgent action in women’s sports at @councilofeurope’s roundtable for International Women’s Day last month, highlighting the inequalities that women still face in sport and fitness.

Women in the UK spend on average £1,800 on menopause products.

But what are they spending on?

We’re not against menopause products. We are against sticking a pink label written “menopause” on any product and increasing the price tag. And, above all, we are against products that scientifically do not deliver what they promise.

Dr Emma Ross has a breakdown of what you can look for when browsing for products to alleviate your symptoms. But, apart from all this, remember to always seek specialist advice - the British Menopause Society is a good place to start.
